Updated: 05/22/2008 May 2008 - Commerce City Parade What: Commerce City Memorial Day Parade Where: Meet @ Wal-mart parking lot (on Dahlia St), just off of Colorado Blvd in Commerce City (1/4 mile from I-270). Dates: Memorial Day, May 26, 2008. Meet @ 8 am to take your position in the parade. Info: This event essentially kicks off our summer season. We have won 1st place six of the past seven years. We now have more members and MVs than ever - let's have a great turn out for this event! Please contact Phil Movish (POC) with any questions. We will make additional information available as soon as we have more details. JUNE 2008 - B-17 Event & Display What: B-17 Aluminum Overcast Flights sponsored by the Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum. This will include flights (rides), vehicle displays, and a hangar dance on Saturday night. Flights are by appointment only. WWII vehicles are preferred, but all MVs are welcome. All MVCC members are welcome to attend the dinner at the Perfect Landing Restaurant, located at the Jet Center at Centennial Airport (Peoria St), on Friday evening. You need to contact Natalio (POC) if you plan to attend. Mike is POC. Where: Elizabeth , CO Dates: Saturday, June 7, 2008.JULY 2008 - 4th of July Parade What: 4th of July Parade & Fireworks Show - Sedalia Where: Dino Diesel (Fabrication) - Sedalia, CO Dates: Friday, July 4, 2008.August 2008 - Cripple Creek Honors America's Armed Forces What: Cripple Creek Honors America's Armed Forces parade and vehicle display. Natalio is Point Of Contact. Where: Cripple Creek, CO Dates: August 15-17, 2008.Info: We will be given fewer hotel rooms than we received last year, so we will need to plan for this. We are working to arrange transportation for the half-tracks in our club. If you own a half-track and would like to attend, please contact POC and inform him of your intentions. We would like to take our armor to Cripple Creek, Akron, and the Air Show. All MVCC members who bring an MV will receive fuel reimbursement.
September 2008 - Radial Engine Exhibition What: National Radial Engine Exhibition & Display Where: Akron Airport, Akron, Colorado. Dates: Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008. (One-day event). Info: All MVCC members are welcome. Bring the family - there is a lot to see! There will be fuel reimbursement for all those who bring their vehicles.
