Membership in our Organization March 2008 In 2007 MVCC members participated in 24 events in Colorado and one in Pennsylvania, including parades, air shows, historical re-enactments, gun shows, dedication ceremonies, special appearances, Veteran's Tributes, etc. For some events we worked with City and County municipalities, Military organizations, and groups dedicated to supporting our troops and preserving our military heritage. We won a few trophies and awards and received recognition for our efforts. We even appeared on TV a few times! Our club significantly increased membership and added more than 20 new members. MVCC members also acquired several new military vehicles recently to add to our existing inventory. We can now bring and display as many as 35 vehicles to larger events when necessary. There are several members who are currently working feverishly to complete on-going restoration projects which will only add to our current line-up. If you are interested in having MVCC vehicles for your event, please contact us. We recently held our first major event for 2008, Operation Blizzard, and have many exciting events planned for the remainder of the year. We have a busy summer season planned. If you have a military vehicle (any condition) and are interested in participating in our events, we suggest you attend one of our meetings and see if this is something you would like to do. If you have a vehicle, part(s), item, or uniform that you would like to donate to our organization we would gladly accept it and add it to our collection. Our members have a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience and serve as resource for anyone interested in military vehicles. Members receive our online newsletter, the O.D. News, and e-mail notifications regarding parades, social events, air shows, and other activities. You will also receive a welcome package.
